Bayard coffee bar took its name from the dog character in Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
I tried to blend as much elements from the novel as possible to create a storytelling experience in a mural painting. Bayard, crazy hatter, the red queen of hearts, the cheshire cat, castles, chess pieces, clocks, coffee beans and aromas, all combined in a doodling style drawing to give a chaotic feeling of going into the rabbithole.
Pearl varnish was added in the acrylic colour to give an extra effect of a fairytale feeling.
